Ken Goodfriend, the UFT-RTC Florida Coordinator of Services and Sections, welcomed us to the 39th Annual Florida RTC Luncheon. The tables were hosted by NYSUT Member Benefits among others. The legislation coming before the Florida legislators can have impact on our way of life and the lives of our brothers and sisters in organized labor in Florida. Our Florida AFL-CIO and the Florida Education Association will be providing the lead on these Florida issues and no doubt will be asking everyone to make phone calls to our local legislators or sign online petitions.
