The Florida 2021 legislative session runs from March 2 to April 30. Issues impacting Florida’s students, educators and public education will once again be at the forefront.
We strongly urge you to take action to protect our fellow AFT - FEA members as well as their students.
Take Action for Public Education:
Stop HB 835 and HB 947 - These target your constitutional right to belong to a union.
Support Senate Bill 886 - which removes high-stakes consequences from this year’s standardized tests.
Stop Senate Bill 78 – This is a big government bill which limits the individual freedoms of many frontline workers, including educators.
