Treasure Coast TRIF unit has been busy having fun and learning. We kicked off the 2017-2018 season with an address by CTA-CTU Local 3616 President Vicki Rodriguez who shared what is happening to our St. Lucie County teachers and sharpening our understanding of the contrasts between being an education professional in NYS and teaching in Florida. In November and December we shared camaraderie and holiday cheer including gifts. In January we joined the Space Coast unit for their annual silent auction, a fund raiser for their scholarship fund.
- February will be a busy month: We travel to Clewiston for a visit to 'Big Sugar' AND have a benefits conference in West Palm Beach (Feb 5).
- March 28 we go to a local high school culinary institute.
